Foundation for acne-prone skin that doesn't cause more breakouts

I've broken out from three foundations in the last year. It's so demoralising — you want to cover spots and end up with more. Does anyone with acne-prone skin have a foundation they genuinely trust? Non-comedogenic is a must.

I'm not acne-prone but my sister is and she swears by the ILIA True Skin Foundation — mineral-based and she hasn't broken out from it. She also says patting rather than rubbing made a big difference for her. Might be worth looking into!
