Formula overview
This water-based formula will likely feel lightweight and breathable on the skin. It contains Tocopheryl Acetate (a form of vitamin E that acts as an antioxidant). This product contains fragrance and alcohol.
Compatibility
This water-based formula is ideal for oily and combination skin types seeking a long-wearing, matte finish that controls shine with silica and nylon-12. However, the presence of alcohol and fragrance may be sensitizing for those with very dry or highly reactive skin.

Beautiful finish but broke me out — patch test first
I wanted to love this more than I did. The finish is gorgeous — genuinely looks airbrushed in photos. But it broke me out on my chin, which was gutting at this price point. I think it's the silicones. My skin is unpredictable so this might just be a me problem, but sensitive skin people should patch test first. Coverage was impressive and the shade range for lighter warm tones is good. If you don't have reactive skin I think you'd love it.

My big-occasion foundation — stunning but not a marathon runner
My big-occasion foundation. For dry skin it's genuinely one of the better full-coverage options — doesn't emphasise dry patches the way a lot of mattes do. I'm in shade 1 Cool. The finish is described as matte but it's more of a soft-focus satin in practice, which I prefer. Beautiful in photos. My only gripe is longevity — by hour six my T-zone starts to move. For a full day I'd set with a light powder. For an evening or event though, it's stunning.
