Formula overview
This water-based formula will likely feel smooth on the skin with a soft matte finish. It contains dimethicone for a silky texture and glycerin to help the skin retain moisture, while talc and silica work together to absorb excess oil.
Compatibility
This silicone-heavy, matte formula is ideal for oily and combination skin types seeking a long-wear finish with significant oil control from ingredients like talc and silica. Those with very dry skin or a sensitivity to fragrance may find the matte texture and added parfum potentially drying or irritating.

Solid workhorse — blend fast and go a touch lighter
Really solid for combination skin — matte finish that doesn't go completely flat, holds up through a busy day. I'm in 310N. Coverage is excellent, covers my post-pregnancy pigmentation in one layer. The one thing: it can oxidise slightly on me by the afternoon, going a half shade lighter than I think I need seems to help. Sets quickly so blend fast. Overall I'd rather buy two of these than one designer foundation.

Changed the foundation game for deep skin tones
This foundation changed the game for me. I'm a deep warm NC55 and before Fenty I was mixing foundations just to get close to my shade. The 470N is a near-perfect match. For oily skin — genuinely impressive. I work long shifts and this stays put without going patchy or separating. The one tip I'd give: use a damp sponge, not fingers, the finish is so much better. I've tried maybe 15 foundations in five years and this is the one I keep coming back to.
