Blush — Orgasm

Stunning shade — but it's fragranced, which I wish I'd known

The shade is genuinely beautiful on medium neutral skin — the peachy gold shimmer gives a warmth that suits me perfectly. But I want to flag something that caught me out: NARS Orgasm is fragranced. It's not listed prominently and I didn't notice until a few weeks in when I was experiencing irritation around my cheeks. Once I made the connection and stopped using it the irritation cleared up. I've given it three stars because the shade and formula are excellent — if fragrance isn't an issue for you this easily earns four or five. But sensitive and reactive skin people: check this one carefully before buying.

Nervous about shimmer but this converted me

Six years and counting — a genuine classic

I've been buying this blush for six years and I don't see myself stopping. The peachy-pink with gold shimmer gives you that just-came-back-from-holiday flush that looks genuinely natural. A light hand is everything — I overdid it when I first got it and ended up looking more glittery than I wanted. One sweep of a fluffy brush, maybe two for more colour, and you're done. Lasts all day on my combination skin without touching up.
